Parish Mission Statement
We, the family of St. Jude, Pearl, Mississippi are a vibrant, Eucharistic community
with caring members that are empowered by baptism to serve God through the sacraments. We will
proclaim the good news and provide spiritual and moral guidance to parishioners and the community
by creating a holy and comforting place that encourages active participation, service to each other,
and love.
Prayer for Our Parish Family
LORD JESUS, grant that my family and I may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's failings, and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness of heart, and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of ourselves.
O LORD JESUS CHRIST OUR GOD, our Sweet Savior, look down on our lives with compassion and keep us from all perilous falls, from enemies both visible and invisible, my family who Thou has grant me, that we may pass our time together until the end with oneness of mind. Grant us health, strength, clarity of thought and speak, and fullness of wisdom enlightened from You, so that together, we may be able to fulfill our duties all the days of this life according to Thy will and commandments. Protect and keep us from temptations, and that we may be able to bear and conquer those temptations that come upon us. Strengthen us in right faith, strong hope, and perfect love, so that together we may do good deeds and that we may order all our lives according to Thy divine ordinances and commandments. May the love that binds us together grow and mature with each passing day. Bring us ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection.
OH GREATLY MERCIFUL LORD, hear us who humbly pray to Thee, for it is Thine to hear and have mercy on us, and send Your divine blessing, in truth, on our lives and on all our good deeds, O Our God, and to You we send up glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, unto the age of ages.
